Matching

Today the girls finally noticed the new way I have arranged the felt boards for phonemes & words/reading.  I have them hanging on either side of a chalkboard.  I wrote a few words on the board and placed picture cards on one side & words on the other.  I figured they would either match via felt board side by side or on the board.  Stickers were adhered to the cards that matched the words on the board.  Maggie took interest first.  She matched & read the words but not without aide.  Lily followed. She matched with accuracy.
