Flip charts

the girls had a great experience with the flip charts today.  They were involved.  Theybsatvforvatvleastv45 minutes engaged in the activity.  One book was focused on letters and finding the beginning sound of the words in a picture.  I made copies of worksheets provided so they had a matching visual in front of them identical to the flip book.  Lily circled the objects on both the flip book & her worksheet as did Maggie.  This was the favored activity.

The other flip book revolved around common nouns in categories on a page.  There were blanks to write in each word of each object.  We practiced copying and hand over hand learning categories as well.  Topics included School, the body, pets vs wild animals.
