Math & the Knobbed cylinders

Math worksheets with the bead stairs. This is a favorite math activity.

Above the girls work on their handwriting without tears workbooks.  These are great because they combine the wooden pieces to build the letters with the letter laminate sheets so the kiddo builds this first.   Then practices on their slate board.  Finally practicing in the workbook and coloring the picture. This gives me time to practice with both kiddos as one kiddo can color while they wait for help with writing if needed.

I set up the knobbed cylinders on the table & Lily was immediately drawn to it before even eating breakfast.  Usually we set up for the day after we eat breakfast but today was too tempting.  I’ll be leaving this material out this week now that I’ve seen extreme interest.  And the knobless cylinders for matching activities.
