Self care fun

The girls and I took some time to soak our feet.  After soaking the girls had their nails and toes painted.  Maggie & Liky picked their own colors. I was very impressed with Lily’s ability to sit still in a chair with her feet in a pot of water for so long.  She had her iPad but even with an iPad in the past this could have not happened easily.  Sitting still well is something of a new behavior that has happened since our learning journey. It started with allowing me to trim her nails while awake, which is something I had to do while she was sleeping for some time. That moved onto things like putting on Chapstick, nail polish, and hair bows which require some sitting still. I’m proud of what she has accomplished.  She is too.
