Painting with water colors

In an effort to teach color mixing & the relationship to colors to one another I squeezed out water color paint in combinations that could make certain colors with hopes that the girls would catch on.  And they did.  They became very excited when they realized two things could equal one & completely change with the combination.  There is much more paint out than needed but they argued with me about the amount needed until I gave in.  After mixing it with water they quickly learned how little was needed as did I!
